Dave was born in the UK, and started playing drums at the age of 10.

He joined his first band at the age of 14, "MR BARLEY WINE - International Band" (Founded by Dave’s' Father AKA Mr Barley Wine, who is now a devote Christian, changing his name to' MR HOLY WINE'). The Band travelled all over the UK. 

He then went on to join several other Bands such as "BORN TO BE SOUL", "BLACK ONYX" & "IMANI I" (touring Canada).

Dave is an independent Drummer and has backed artists such as:

ERROL DUNKLEY & WINSTON GROOVY & KEN BOOTHE to name a few.

His influences are: ASWAD, SLY & ROBBIE & THE WAILERS + STEEL PULSE to name a few.
